THE BORDER TERRIER

Brave, loyal and strong of mind

are the traits of the Border Terrier.

Never tiring, inquisitive and stubborn

but always gentle, friendly and kind.

... Their lovely otter faces shine,

their dark eyes aglow,

the moment the word 'walk' in mentioned,

its onto the dunes and off they go.

They chase the birds and rabbits

they bark and howl to our song

they can run 10 times what we can walk,

they a small but very strong.

Their coats are harsh to protect from rain

and come in various shades.

Their chicken legs stretched out

whilst relaxing at the end of the day.

I love my Borders, all eight of them,

each one unique

My life is enriched by their cheeky ways

A very happy B.T. owner indeed.

I am a border terrier lover! I have done extensive research on the breed and plan on owning one (or two) at some point. Your pictures are wonderful! Theresa

hi i LOVE leobergers!!their one of my favorite breeds!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love them!!!!!!!!!!!i have a leonberger named moe. He's seven(i think) he's SUPER cute and nice and very fun to swim with.At home we call him snaufalafages becaus in the mourning when it's time to go out side he come's up the hallway VERY slow and all you here is thump,thump,thump!!i have three other dogs to their names are scout(black lab), Desi(terrier mix) and Daisy(beagal) i love them all (espestial moe) and your site!!!!! your friend Lydia:)

We love our leonberger! This is our second one, our first one died of a huge tumor mass at just less than two years old, it was very sad. I love the way the dogs talk to you; I love their calm amazing breed.

Our Breeding Beliefs

Faith Kennels Vision:
 
Here at Faith Kennels, we have very strong beliefs in breeding our dogs.  They all must pass their Breed Specific OFA tests, Eye and Heart Certification.   We are proud members of the Border Terrier Club Of America (BTCOA) and The Leonberger Club of America (LCA) therefore all our dogs are bred with strict breeding guidelines.  Breeding should only be done in order to enhance the breed, not for profit. If you are not able to keep a dog purchased from us, we will always take them back and find them a new home, no matter the age of the dog. All of our dogs are house dogs and are considered members of our family first, show dogs second.
